We’re proud to welcome Coach Steven Romero, whose professional baseball experience and deep understanding of the game bring tremendous value to our program. A native of Bolívar, Venezuela, Steven built a multi-year professional career as a right-handed relief pitcher in Minor League Baseball, competing across multiple levels and proving himself as a reliable arm on the mound.
As a right-handed pitcher, Steven was known for his strong work ethic, competitive mentality, and poise in high-pressure situations. Throughout his professional career, he demonstrated consistency, adaptability, and the kind of resilience required to succeed in the grind of professional baseball, finishing with solid numbers and valuable experience in relief roles.
Beyond the stats, Coach Steven’s greatest strength is his ability to translate real-world professional experience into meaningful instruction for young athletes. He understands the importance of fundamentals, preparation, and routine, while also emphasizing confidence, accountability, and a team-first mentality. Having navigated the ups and downs of professional development firsthand, he brings a player-centric coaching style that focuses on long-term growth both on and off the field.

Pitching and Outfield Coach / Former Professional Player
We’re proud to have Coach Willy Collado bring his professional baseball experience and passion for the game to our program. Born in Altamira, Dominican Republic, Willy signed with the Houston Astros organization in 2016 and went on to pitch six seasons across their minor league system. During that time, he competed at multiple levels—earning recognition as a 2019 Astros Organization All-Star for his outstanding performance on the mound.
As a right-handed relief pitcher, Willy was known for his poise under pressure, his ability to attack hitters with confidence, and his consistency in closing out games. Across his career, he recorded a 3.03 ERA with 169 strikeouts in just under 140 innings pitched, proving himself as a reliable presence out of the bullpen.
More importantly, Coach Willy brings those same values of discipline, preparation, and perseverance into his coaching. He understands what it takes to grow as a player, both physically and mentally, and is passionate about helping young athletes develop their skills and love for the game.
